An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Leasing Manager to join a well-respected and high-performing real estate agency with a residential portfolio of approximately 1,400 properties. This is a key role in the business, leading the leasing process from end to end and supervising a Leasing Consultant while maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and the internal property management team.

The Role
As the Leasing Manager, you will be responsible for the successful letting of properties, overseeing all leasing activities and supporting your Leasing Consultant. Your duties will include:
Overseeing the daily activities and performance of a Leasing Consultant
Conducting open homes, private inspections, and tenant viewings
Managing the end-to-end leasing process, including application processing and lease sign-ups
Responding to rental enquiries via phone and email
Coordinating advertising and marketing campaigns for rental properties
Maintaining up-to-date listings across portals and internal systems
Communicating clearly with both landlords and tenants to ensure a smooth leasing experience
Ensuring properties are presented to a high standard for inspections
Working closely with the Business Development and Property Management teams
Your Hours & Work Setup
Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:00pm
Occasional Saturdays required (flexibility offered – current structure includes a Leasing Consultant working Saturdays and taking Thursdays off)
Use of branded Mercedes company vehicle during business hours
Fuel reimbursement provided if personal vehicle is used – $0.91/km with logbook
What We’re Looking For
Current QLD Real Estate Registration Certificate
Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Prior experience in residential leasing (1+ years preferred)
Familiarity with Inspect Real Estate and ideally PropertyMe
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organisation
A proactive, motivated, and customer-first mindset
Ability to lead and mentor a junior team member
Knowledge of the local rental market highly desirable
What’s On Offer
$70,000 base salary + Super + Commission (can be negotiated for the right candidate)
Commission paid at 5% of letting fees – averaging approx. $900/month
