We are excited to partner with a prestigious boutique Real Estate agency on the Sunshine Coast in search of a skilled Real Estate Maintenance Manager. This well-established agency is renowned for its exceptional service and commitment to maintaining a high standard across its property portfolio.
About the Role:
As the Real Estate Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the agency's maintenance operations. This position is ideal for someone with a strong trade background or experience in property management who is looking to shift focus from direct property management while staying actively engaged in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Trade Relationships: Develop and nurture relationships with tradespeople and service providers. Ensure that maintenance work meets high standards and is completed within budget.
Invoicing and Financial Management: Oversee the invoicing process for maintenance work, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Monitor maintenance budgets to achieve cost efficiency.
Maintenance Oversight: Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure prompt resolution of issues. Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce future costs and extend the life of property assets.
Vendor Management: Evaluate and select contractors and vendors, negotiating contracts and service agreements to secure favourable terms and service levels.
Reporting: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and expenditures. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on maintenance operations and budget status.
Qualifications:
Experience in property management or a related field is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of maintenance operations and trade practices.
Proven ability to manage trade relationships and handle invoicing processes.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A trade background or technical knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
QLD Real Estate License & Driver's license required.
