Our valued client is seeking a highly professional and personable Property Manager to join their expanding team of 50 staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to excel in a dynamic and supportive environment, who is keen to mix Property Management with Reception duties and administration.


About the Role:

As a Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and management of a diverse portfolio of properties. You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with tenants and landlords, ensuring properties are well-maintained, and handling all aspects of property management with efficiency and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections and create detailed condition reports.

  • Tenant Management: Manage tenant screenings, lease agreements, and ensure a positive tenant experience.

  • Maintenance Coordination: Handle maintenance requests, coordinate repairs, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

  • Rental Arrears Management: Monitor and manage rental arrears, enforce lease terms, and handle related disputes.

  • Rent Reviews and Lease Renewals: Conduct rent reviews, negotiate lease renewals, and ensure compliance with tenancy laws.

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and landlords, addressing their concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate property records and documentation, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.

  • Legislative Compliance: Stay informed about relevant tenancy laws and regulations, ensuring all practices are compliant.


Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months - 1 year of property management experience.

  • Driver’s Licence: A valid driver’s license is essential for property visits and inspections.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and landlords.

  • Organisation: Strong organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks effectively.

  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Legislative Knowledge: Basic knowledge of relevant tenancy laws and regulations.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer systems and software, including MS Office.

  • QLD Real Estate Cert/License in Hand and ready to go.
